Mr Sander® prices start from £25 per square metre — but every floor is different. Cost depends on the floor type (solid, parquet, engineered), the condition (light refresh vs full restoration), the area covered, and the finish selected (oil, lacquer, hard-wax). We use industry-leading dust extraction systems that capture up to 98% of dust at source. It's not 100% — no system is — but it's a world apart from old-fashioned sanding. Most domestic floors are sanded and finished within 2–4 working days, depending on size and finish. A standard living room is often done in a day. We allow drying time between coats, so we'll give you a clear, day-by-day schedule before we start so you know exactly when you can walk on, place furniture on and live with your new floor.

We can re-glue lifted blocks, replace missing pieces, fill gaps, sand and refinish original herringbone, basket-weave and chevron parquet floors to a flawless finish. It depends on lifestyle. Hard-wax oil (Osmo, Blanchon) gives a natural matte look and is easy to spot-repair — ideal for family homes. Lacquer (water-based) gives a more durable, uniform finish that's better for high-traffic and commercial use.
